Getaba Robert is a native of Agbo, which is in the Nigerian state of Cross River in Abi Local Government Area. From 1994 until 2000, she was a student at St. Peters Primary Schools in Ofodua-Adun, Obubra LGA of CRS. She completed her secondary school from 2000 to 2006 at Community Secondary Commercial School, Ofodua-Adun, Obubra LGA of CRS, where she also earned her SSCE. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 2014 from Cross River University of Technology's (CRUTECH) Department of Visual Arts.





As an Academic Technologist in the Department of Visual Arts, University of Cross River State Nigeria, she specialize in Graphics, with a track record of success in the Art sector. She is skilled in a variety of media, including Advanced Graphics Communication, Print Making, Resin Art, Web Graphics, and Copywriting.



In the University of Cross River State, Visual Arts department, where she work as an Academic Technologist with a focus on Graphics, she is a key contributor to creating a dynamic and creative learning environment. Having a solid foundation in both technology and the arts, she is committed to helping students use state-of-the-art equipment and software in their creative processes.



Tasked with facilitating the integration of technology into the curriculum, she collaborates with lecturers and professors to enhance teaching methodologies and develop engaging educational resources. By staying abreast of the latest advancements in graphic design software and digital tools, she ensures that students have access to the most up-to-date resources for their projects and research.



Beyond technical support, she is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and creativity within the Visual Arts department. Through workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one consultations, she empowers faculty and students to explore new possibilities in graphic design and digital artistry.



With a passion for both technology and the arts, she brings a unique perspective to the academic community, bridging the gap between traditional artistic practices and modern digital tools. By combining expertise in graphic design with a dedication to education, she plays a crucial role in shaping the next generation of creative professionals in the field of Visual Arts.
