She holds a Ph.D. in Education Administration, Planning, and Supervision from the University of Calabar, where she also earned her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Education. Her academic career has been defined by excellence in teaching, leadership, and educational development, serving in several strategic roles that strengthen both academic and administrative systems within the university.
Beyond the university, Dr. Eniang-Esien serves as the Chairman of the Cross River State Advocacy Team of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education. In this capacity, she works closely with the Cross River State Government to address the out-of-school children crisis, championing policies and programs that promote inclusive, quality education for children aged 4–14.
A prolific researcher, she has published widely in national and international journals, with scholarly interests spanning educational management, gender inclusion, teacher education, peace education, and sustainable development. Her research and advocacy work continue to shape educational reform and social impact initiatives in Nigeria.
Dr. Eniang-Esien is passionate about mentorship, youth empowerment, and community service. She is married with children and remains deeply committed to building an education system rooted in ethics, excellence, and inclusivity. >
