CRUTECH VC ROUNDS OFF 2ND ANNIVERSARY ACTIVITY WITH THANKS-GIVING

The Vice Chancellor, Cross River University of Technology, Prof. Augustine Oko Angba, has rounded off his 2nd Anniversary Celebration as Vice Chancellor of the institution.
The ceremony which kick-started with the November 4, 2022 edition of the institution's Prayer summit held at the New Cafeteria, Calabar Campus, was capped on Sunday, November 6, 2022, with a thanks-giving service held at the Redeem Christian Church of God, Kings Court Province 5, Calabar-Calabar Roundabout, Ikot Ishie, Calabar.
During the colourful outings, the Vice Chancellor made bare the plethora of his achievements which included, among others; staff and students' welfare, the provision of viable security and infrastructural development.
Prof. Angba who currently floats a pivotal scholarship scheme to serve as a reward system for hard work, maintained that the scheme was targeted at students with the highest CGPA and well-behaved students across the four University campuses.
The Chief Executive revealed that CRUTECH has demonstrated excellence in the realm of research and had won National and International laurels in this regard.
He passionately sued for continued cooperation from staff and students in order to grow the University.

The CRUTECH boss whose speech at the Church thanks-giving service was significantly coated with striking family and personal testimonials, said though his developmental vision for CRUTECH was temporarily disrupted by the Covid-19 lockdown and the just-suspended protracted National strike by University unions, his administration has momentarily placed an array of achievements on CRUTECH record, within the space of the first two years of his tenure.
He felt ultimately thankful for God’s faithfulness in his life.

The events were graced by CRUTECH Management, the crème de la crème of the University community and close associates of the Vice Chancellor.

Highpoint of the ceremony was; offering of thanks giving prayers, presentation of ‘’FOTOS’’ Awards and cultural dance performance by the University Staff School.
